Meet with Joanne to review your objectives and timeline. She will review the selling process and discuss pricing and how to prepare your home for sale. We will provide a preliminary Market report, and a complete detailed report right before the house is marketed for sale.  

WHAT’S NEXT?

First - a listing agreement and mandatory disclosure forms will need to be completed and signed to begin the process.

Second - time to walk through your home as if you were the buyer. Joanne will identify any repairs needed for the interior and exterior, make recommendations on how to stage each room, and suggest curb appeal. The first goal is to showcase your home and highlight the best features. We want the buyer to walk into your home feeling welcome and see themselves living there.

Third - is pricing. Pricing will need to be at that sweet spot - not below market, not above market, but at a price that will attract strong buyers. Accurate pricing is key to getting as many people as possible to tour and make offers on your home, especially when you first list your home.  There’s a current pool of buyers waiting for new listings to hit the market, so accurate pricing and staging your home properly are crucial.  We will review the detailed Market report comparing similar homes, locations, conditions, amenities, and what is happening in the current market.  

Fourth - Joanne steps in and gets to work on marketing your home. It's not just putting a lockbox on the house, not putting on a yard sign, and not putting in the multiple listing service. Joanne will continually market by maximizing the exposure of your home to receive the highest possible price. She will be in constant communication with you and provide updates.
